With the esteemed permission of His Excellency Akka Pundit Sapheacha Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Finance, and Chairman of the FSA's Council, on Thursday, February 13, 2025, His Excellency Sok Dara, Director General of the Trust Regulator, was invited to participate as an honorary speaker to present on Carbon Credits Trust Mechanisms in Cambodia at the "Sustainable Finance" seminar in the Republic of Korea. The seminar was initiated and co-organized by three institutions: Yonsei University, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and the Korea Banking Institute. The primary objective of this collaboration is to advance sustainable financial mechanisms and digital innovation, focusing on development financing, green digital finance, ESG reporting, and transition finance. The seminar participants included leaders from public and private institutions, professors, consultants, and specialists from various organizations, including universities, banking institutes, sustainability standards boards, the ADB, financial and environmental agencies, and legal firms.
